An enamelled blue pocket watch. Circa 1900's the translucent blue enamel was damaged and had to be restored. The translucent effect was not lost along with the vitreous lustre of the enamel. Colour matching plays an important role with pieces such as this, if it only slightly off colour then the whole piece is ruined.
