M
Flynn Enamel restorers have been established for over thirty years,
we are a successfully run family business which is now in its third
generation of family management. Established in 1973 we have a substantial
client list all of whom recommend our work highly. We deal mainly
in the west end and our clients include Tessiers, Southeby's and Philip
Son & Neal. We also deal with clients in Buenos Aires and New
York.
We
specialise in using hard acrylic stoving enamels, a process whereby
the original enamel is not stripped or removed during restoration,
thereby preserving the original material as much as possible. Our
firing temperatures do not exceed more than 250 degrees, and if working
on an organic material, such as ivory, it will be repaired without
any temperature.
Every
piece of work we receive is handled with the utmost care and our highly
trained craftsmen are F.G.A and D.G.A qualified. Whether it be a sentimental
heirloom or a piece of Faberge you can trust us to deliver the highest
possible results with a friendly service.
We
undertake all types of enamel restoration; Champleve, Cloisonne, Grissaille
and even Plique a jour is possible for us to restore. We also undertake
restoration of organic pieces such as Ivory or Tortoiseshell.
